Frosty Window Cover Supply List + PayPal Issues

Hi, everyone!

Last week when I said the Frosty Window albums would start shipping on Monday, I totally forgot that it was a Federal Holiday and, therefore, no mail service. Needless to say, the albums did not start shipping yesterday due to the fact that the USPS was not working & I am unable to keep track of what day of the month it is. ;D

There were a few posts yesterday from people having trouble with PayPal. I'm sorry about that ~ I don't know why PayPal is working for some people and not for others. There are still albums available, so you should be able to purchase them. If you can't get a payment to go through after multiple tries with PayPal, please email me at thescrapbeach@gmail.com with the following info so we can work out an alternative:
1. First and Last Name
2. Email associated with your PayPal account
3. Country the album is shipping to

We have sold well over half the Frosty Window albums & I am so excited so many of you will be working along with me on this one. I actually couldn't wait until the Scrappy Bowl Party to get started, so I started testing some different ideas for the cover this weekend. This one was the winner:

I love it! We'll be making this cover from start to finish during the Scrappy Bowl Party, so here's what you'll need:

Sizzix/Tim Holtz Hardware Findings Bigz Die
Deco Art's Americana Acrylic Paint in Winter Blue
Deco Art's Americana Acrylic Paint in Neutral Grey
Plaid's Folk Art Crackle Medium
McGill Star Lily Punch
McGill Mini Petals Punch
McGill Starburst Punch
McGill Molding Mat
McGill Paper Tool Kit
Ranger Distress Embossing Powder in Black Soot
Ranger Distress Embossing Ink
Ranger Distress Ink in Iced Spruce
American Crafts Thickers in Sprinkles Font, White
Ranger Ice Stickles in Arctic Ice
White Cardstock
Blue Cardstock
Staz-On Cotton White Ink*

If you're not sure you want to play along with us because you don't have too many winter photos, you can always make a Sunny Window album. Just choose a different paper collection and swap out the snowflakes for roses or hybiscus & you're all set! There's no reason the windows have to be frosty ~ they can be sunny instead.

To purchase a Frosty Window album, check out this blog post: Frosty Window Albums.

Thanks so much for stopping by & see you Thursday!

~Kathryn :D

*I didn't use this ink on the cover, but we will probably be using it inside the album on the acrylic pages.

  1. For years I have taken pics of what I see outside my front window. Even in my new house I have done the same. Love to see the sun shinning thru the trees and I have some really special pics but not of snow in Florida. I can't decide if I want to use this for my collection of front window pics or the grand kids playing in the snow. Maybe I need 2 albums since I already have the snowfall collection to use. 1. You could definitely do two albums ~ one snowy & one not so snowy. Also, Bo Bunny has an ongoing class on their blog right now featuring the Snowfall collection that might work for your grandkids. You can check it out here: Bo Bunny Snowfall Album Tutorial.

  4. Hi Kathryn. Thanks for posting the supplies for the cover; gives me plenty of time to gather supplies. I was wondering what BoBunny embellishments I should get for the inside (I am not gifted in the area of embellishing, so need all the advice & help I can get). Are you going to use the noteworthy packs and/or brads, etc from that collection? I've never bought collection embellies before, so I don't really know if they are worth the extra $$.

    Thank you!

  5. Hi, Diana!

I did purchase some of the embellishments that go with the Bo Bunny "Snowfall" collection. I know I have the rub-ons, noteworthy, brads, buttons and stamps and some of the chipboard and stickers. I don't always get the embellishments when I purchase paper from a collection. I have been trying to purchase more embellishments, actually, since I find I tend to over-purchase paper and under-purchase embellishments.

  6. Thank you! I'm off to my LSS to see if they have any of those things left. I've never used rub-ons before, so am really excited about incorporating them in to this project.

    Have a good weekend :)
