I recently had a problem with my blog sidebar going all crazy and I had to delete it to get it to stop. I've been trying to rebuild it and one of the things I'm missing is my "Project Request List" where I'd been compiling your suggestions for what you'd like to see more of.
The winter CHA show is right around the corner and I'm starting to work on my schedule for 2014. I'd love to know what kind of projects you're dying to see here on my blog, on my YouTube channel or as USTREAM or other classes!
If there's something specific you've been hoping for from me, please let me know in the comments below. I'll try to get as many of them as possible on the calendar for next year so we have lots of fun and interesting projects to be excited about.
Kathryn :D
I would like to see triptych made as a memory or special photo .
ReplyDeleteThanks, Bridget! I love the idea of a triptych!
DeleteI liked it when you made fluffy, frilly things with flowers and butterflies. Also stamps and special techniques. Not so much with just layering pre made embellishments. Thanks
ReplyDeleteI love your BOX classes! I seem to always be working when you are up on U Stream but it's great to be able to buy the manuals when you do them.
ReplyDeleteThank you, Joanne! I like the boxes, too. Nothing like having a storage container for your photos built in! :)
DeleteI would love to see you do more mixed media art techniques and show us how you would use them in your projects. Your ideas are awesome! I have enjoyed your technique classes so much this past year. Please keep educating us on how to get the most out of our old and new stash! I also enjoy your chat and think it would be fun to do a random swap with the ustreamer class. Simple art pieces that we create in class like envelopes, tags, cards, 1 sheet mini journals, etc. but it would be related to the class technique of the week. Simple stuff that could mail easy.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the suggestions! I'll definitely try to think of some mixed media classes for 2014!
DeleteHey Kathryn - how did the search for a 1/4" hole punch go?
ReplyDeleteThe WRMK 1/4" Power Punch works great!
DeleteHi Kathryn, I love your boxes and books!! I have made several of the 3 books in a box and I am working on the Steampunk chest. I also just got my Christmas kit and I can hardly wait to get started on it!!! Thank you so much for putting another kit together and sharing all your wonderful projects with us!!! You are awesome!! (So is Mr. LG...lol)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Sue! It seems like the boxes are really popular. :)
DeleteI really enjoyed your layout series and wish to see it again. I like how you had some technique or trick to your pages every month. I used many of these in my own albums. Thanks for everything you do.
ReplyDeleteI am going to be keeping the layouts coming in 2014!
DeleteI would love to learn how you print your photos...how you "fix" the photo to turn out so well and how you get them to print from PSE with the great white border around them. Your photos all look so great
ReplyDeleteI will see what I can do about a photography tutorial - this has been a very challenging request for me due to the many different cameras, printers and softwares available. If I can't develop a tutorial, I will try to find a good one to recommend!
DeleteI would really like a easy 2014 planner. Something we could get made asap so we can use it all year....
ReplyDeleteLove your show
I will see what I can do! What specific needs are you looking for a planner to meet in terms of size, contents, etc.?
DeleteKathryn I would really like you to teach us how to make some Tear bears , people, critters . I hope you know what they are .Thank you love your show !
ReplyDeleteThanks, Deana - so glad you're enjoying the shows! I have to confess that I have never made a tear bear, but I did find this helpful tutorial: http://thebearyscrap-tearbear-tutorials.blogspot.com/p/tear-bear.html
DeleteI would like to have a project that stores/displays christmas cards that are too pretty or have sentimental value to throw away. I also have birthday cards and Post Cards that are stored in a box.
ReplyDeleteAre you looking to store them in an album, or in something that is an actual 3D display (home decor)?
DeleteMy all time fav project was Lost and Found mini album. I think you excel at decorating the page. I am not a fan of boxes, but I guess that is just me. Not really thrilled with recent paper choices, and I would love it if you went back to your old style LOL.
ReplyDeleteHi Kathryn- I would like to see projects made with the new G-45 paper line. Thanks,Kathleen
ReplyDeleteWhat sort of projects are your favorites?
DeleteKathryn...I would love it if you would do an inventory/wish list journal. I need to get organized so i quit buying the same item twice. I need inventory lists for dies, stamps, distressed stains, ink refills etc. Also a wish list for more things i can't live without. I would like it to be stylish but not feminine and NOT PINK. Hate pink. I'm more of a steampunk kind of gal. Hope this can be a future project. Thanks, Artsychik Jeanne
ReplyDeleteI hear you on the buying the same thing twice problem - been there, done that! I'll see what I can do!
DeleteI think the FarmHouse 302 collection would work wonderfully with this theme. Its very office oriented. What do you think?
