USTREAM Today: Baby Album

Hi, everyone! Just a quick post to let you know that we're done with Christmas projects & today we'll be working on a baby album! My sister asked me if I could make an album for one of her co-workers & since I happened to have some cute baby paper from Simple Stories, I agreed.

I've covered all the album pages already, so today we'll be working on embellishments. This is an album designed to highlight monthly milestones, so we'll be working on the numbers for each month, as well as some other goodies here and there. I hope you'll be able to join us!

I am live every Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and again from 9:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. on my USTREAM Channel: Live on the {Scrap}Beach.

All times above are Eastern USA {Miami/New York}. To convert to your time zone, click here: Time Zone Converter.

  1. I just got the email for this on Friday at noon. I missed the show, so guess I have a video to watch. LOL My house has been crazy, nuts the last few days. A good thing to watch when I have time to sit down and relax. Just hope I don't fall asleep. LOL
    Merry Christmas, Kathryn!!!

  2. Hi Kathryn Merry Christmas to you and your family. I have a question regarding the album, do you have a clip of the actual assambly? I would love to see how you did the album itself before adding the designer paper and embelishments. Such a lovely album like the rest of your projects. Take care.

  3. Hi, Avare! I don't have a clip on the assembly as it is not me design. However the idea originated with Laura Denison of Following the Paper Trail and she does have clips of the assembly.

Here is the link to the spine and pages on YouTube: Stack the Deck Base Assembly.

Here is the link to the first USTREAM on adding the pockets: Stack the Deck Flap Assembly. There are other USTREAM recordings in the series, but you'll be able to get to them from her channel.

    Hope that helps!

    1. Here's the link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Z_6pe2ZhDI. The enveloped I used are 6"x9" and the smaller pockets are 4.25"x6.25" and are attached to the larger envelopes with paper hinges.
