Convertible Album-in-a-Box Online Class + Instruction Manual!

Hi, everyone!

This Saturday is National Scrapbook Day! In honor of our favorite national holiday, I will be doing a special USTREAM class to teach the convertible album in a box technique.

There were many requests both locally, and online for me to teach this class, so here it is! In this class, you'll learn to create a unique box from scratch. This seemingly simple box transforms when the lid is removed into a gorgeous paper bag album. The class will be offered online Saturday, May 5th starting at 3:00 PM Eastern USA time on my USTREAM channel.

Holding 24 4"x6" photos easily (with room for even more), this box is made entirely from paper and chipboard. During the class, we will build and cover the box, as well as create the album binding system.

Here is a picture of the original class project:

As a special treat for this very requested class and for National Scrapbook Day, I have actually written up an instruction manual that includes a supply list and all the measurements and directions you will need to complete this project beautifully. This 28 page manual costs $12.49 and includes 38 color photos illustrating the steps needed to complete the album, as well as 24 color photos with examples of decorated pages and tags.

Within 24 hours of purchasing the manual, you will be sent an email with a PDF of the manual. If you have not received an email with a PDF and it has been more than 24 hours since you received confirmation from PayPal that your payment was made, please contact me.

To purchase your (very special limited edition National Scrapbook Day only) convertible album-in-a-box instruction manual, please click the PayPal button below:

Thanks for stopping by & I hope to see you on National Scrapbook Day!

    1. Maybe it's too early for me, but I'm not getting your hint. Are you saying you want more instruction manuals!? LOL! Let's just see how this one goes & then maybe there can be a future for these sorts of things.

      Maybe.

  2. Just sent my order through for the pattern. Love your shows - looking forward to doing the project. I don't often chat on your shows - WHEW - there is a lot of chatting during the shows; it seems everyone knows each other and that is great. Such a good way to bond with friends while "scrappin". Thanks for your creativity and sharing it with us.

    1. I'm so glad that you have been watching and enjoying the shows! Thank you so much for grabbing a pattern. I hope that you enjoy making the project along with me.

There is A LOT of chatting going on during the shows. Lots of gals do know each other, but they are a very welcoming group! Just dive in one day & soon you'll be chatting up a storm with the rest of the crew.

  6. Though I will be watching your show I can't afford the pattern. I'm sorry. I was wondering if you will be giving the measurments during your class? If not I understand because that's the purpose of the pattern. I love watching your classes on ustream and appreciate all you do. Thanks!

  14. I have enjoyed your projects via UStream. I have already started on a calendar/card box. Hopefully I will be able to make it Sat, I bought the manual just in case. Also during the end of your last video for the front door ablbum you showed this same project with different pattern paper. Where did you find that paper I have been looking for it. Thanks for sharing :)

    1. The one with the big butterfly was made with the Bo Bunny "Gabrielle' papers. It's an older line & I think I got it at Two Peas. Hope that helps!

  20. Kathryn Love the album and the paper you used on the album. I have a question, what kind of binding is used for this album, cinch or........

    ReplyDelete
    Replies
    1. Nothing like that. The album is attached to/a part of the box itself, so you'll create the binding from scratch.

  22. Oh Kathryn, that Album just looks so yummy and I can see myself embellishing and using my own papers if I don't have any of the ones you are using. I know a lot of hard work goes into making these patterns but it's going to be a big hit and I thank you for all the time it took you to create one for us. Well, off I go to order mine. Hugs!
