May Layout Week on USTREAM!

Thank you for participating in May Layout Week on my USTREAM channel yesterday! Chat was so much fun yesterday and we got two beautiful layouts created.

The first layout used the Bo Bunny Snow Play collection. This was the fifth installment in a series of classes that started in January showing how you can use seasonal papers all year in non-seasonal ways.

I customized the paper with inks and embossing folders so it matched my photos perfectly!

The second layout used the Pink Paislee Hope Chest collection. Each month we do two layouts - one with the seasonal paper and the other with a paper that is not themed.

I used the WRMK Envelope Punch Board to make these envelopes.

Thanks so much for joining me! Our next Layout Week will be on Thursday, June 6, 2013!

    1. I'm so glad to have inspired you to be creative with layouts again! I like the satisfaction of getting a project done in just a few hours, rather than the days/weeks it take for a mini album. Plus, a layout really helps me to zero in on a specific memory, unlike a mini album which tends to have a broader focus.

  3. What a fabulous way to use those not so fabulous papers!!! I shall certainly give this technique a go. Thanks for the inspiration.

    1. A lot of the papers that aren't our favorite anymore are still made of nice quality, heavy, acid-free cardstock, so they're great to use as the basis for altered art/mixed media projects - even if they're not our favorite anymore. :)
