NEW CLASS + SHOP ITEM: Picture This Album

We're getting ready to start a new USTREAM album series this June: a photography centered album to house all your favorite photos using the Bo Bunny "Mama Razzi 2" collection.
I am really excited about this project and the Bo Bunny collection - I'm looking forward to chronicling how photography and the way we take pictures has changed over the years & my own personal evolution with photography.
Here is a picture of the album I'll be using:

This approx. 7"x9" chipboard + wood grain album is available in my shop now!
When you purchase the album, you will get three sheets of picture frame style extra heavy chipboard and three sheets of picture frame styled wood grain paper. In the photo above, you can see how I sprayed the wood grain with Heidi Swapp Color Shine to change the color to match the paper collection. I also cut the pages in half so we'll be making a smaller album that looks like a picture frame when opened. I love it!

Since the album is cut from plain chipboard and white cardstock, you'll still be able to play along if the Bo Bunny papers are not to your taste. The neutral colors will go with any paper collection you'd like to use!

On today's USTREAM shows, we'll be going over the supplies for the upcoming project above, as well as making a viewer project request: the project planner Leisa Herbst designed as a gift for each of us at CHA!

I created some inserts for the planner:

In the afternoon class, we'll be going over in detail the supplies for the "Picture This!" album, as well as supplies for our upcoming masculine/Father's Day projects. Then we'll be getting to work on the project planner, so gather some cardstock and your favorite paper collection and join us!

n the evening class, we'll be completing the planner + doing some decorating.

Classes are this afternoon from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM Eastern USA time and then again this evening from 9:00 PM to 11:00 PM Eastern USA time.

All classes and their recordings will be over on my USTREAM channel: Kathryn Scraps!

See you there!

    1. My favorite kraft cardstock is the Paper Accents brand recycled kraft. I usually buy it in a 250 pack from Create for Less, but you can get in packs of 25 from Scrapadabadoo.

For white and black textured cardstock, I like the American Crafts. Both the white and black are available in 60 packs that come with their own storage boxes.

For smooth white for stamping, I like the Neenah brand Classic Crest paper in the 110 lb. cover stock weight. For a bright white, I like Avalanche White. For a softer white, I like Solar White. They're both white - neither is off-white - but I like to have the variety between really bright white and a softer shade. Most stampers use Solar White.

      Hope that helps!

      Kathryn :D
