Crop Out Cancer
Starting at 2:00 p.m. Eastern USA time on Saturday, April 12, 2014, I am hosting an online class and crop in my classroom open to all paper crafters. This is a charity crop to benefit the American Cancer Society and the National Kidney Foundation.
During the crop, I will teach a live class on my new "Layers of Love" album.
This hard cover paper bag album was designed especially for this event, and holds over 42 4"x6" photos. Copies of this manual will be sent to anyone who donates to the American Cancer Society or the National Kidney Foundation (details below).
We have had several donations of prizes for this event, including a subscription to Kathy Orta's second quarter kit club and five awesome kits of supplies from Tammie Ward (aka scrappergonewild) who has recently been affected by Renal Cancer. You will get one entry to the prize drawings for each donation you make (details below).
Ways to Give
There are many ways to give during this event - please read the below instructions carefully.
You may donate in as many ways as you choose. You'll receive one giveaway entry and one copy of the "Layers of Love" manual for the first financial donation you make. You will receive one additional giveaway entry for each subsequent contribution you make.
Donate financially to the American Cancer Society through our Mosaic of Love web page.
Be sure to include your name and email when you donate.
We have no way of tracking anonymous donations.
Donate financially to the National Kidney Foundation.
Because we have no way of tracking donations to NKF, please forward your donation confirmation/receipt to info@kathrynscraps.com to receive your manual and/or prize entry.
For non-USA participants only, make a financial donation to a cancer-fighting charity in your country.
Because we have no way of tracking these donations, please forward your donation confirmation/receipt to info@kathrynscraps.com to receive your manual and/or prize entry.
Make a "thinking of you" card for Linda Metteer (Linda aka Oz).
Our dear friend Linda is in the final stages of a long battle with ovarian cancer. Since Linda has been so ill, she has been unable to join in the chat fun. I know she would appreciate hearing from all her online friends!
Cards will be collected and sent together in one box, so envelopes are not required and there are no size or thickness limitations.
Please send your card to the below address. Be sure to include your name and contact info on or in the card so Linda knows it's from you. You will receive one prize entry for sending Linda a card.
To earn a prize entry for this crop, cards must be post-marked by March 29th (USA) or March 22nd (international).

Donate art supplies to your local children's hospital.
Many children's hospitals collect art supplies for children to make crafts and scrapbooks. Please contact your local children's hospital to see if they are in need of supplies. If you don't have a local children's hospital OR your local children's hospital does not have a current supply need, you can send supplies to me for the Washington, DC Children's Hospital.
Please send a photo of the supplies you are donating to your local children's hospital to info@kathrynscraps.com so we can add them to our Mosaic of Love and give you your prize entry.
Your local children's hospital likely collects donations all year long, however, to earn prize entries for this crop supplies must be photographed and emailed by April 5th.
Please send any supplies for the Washington, DC Children's Hospital to the below address. Be sure to include a card with your name and email address so we can give you your prize entry. To earn entries for this crop supplies must be post-marked by April 5th (USA) or March 29th (international).
