Hi, everyone! Welcome back to Life on the {Scrap}beach! I just uploaded a new video over on my YouTube channel.

This is part four of a series I am doing on a paper bag album with a family theme. I'm going to continue decorating the inside pages!

Thanks for watching & I hope you enjoy it!

  2. Kathryn, I am loving watching this album come together. The papers you have chosen are beautiful. I can hardly wait to see the finished album. What line of scenic route paper has the grid paper you keep referring to? Believe me when I say I need all the help I can get keeping my journalling straight. Thanks for another enjoyable video. Looking forward to the next one. Nancy

  3. Thanks, Ladybug! I really like the idea of using the BIA to put the bags together -- I'd love to know how it turns out! I have a BIA, but I am out of o-wires and need to get more.

Nancy, the Scenic Route grid paper I use all the time is from the "Background Collection" and it is probably my favorite patterned paper of all time (in that I use it on almost everything). I also have trouble writing in a stright line and did all my jounraling on the computer before I got these papers.

  4. I have enjoyed the tip of adding "lined/gridded" paper to my projects. Ever since I have been watching your videos I have been handwritting. My family has commented a couple of times that they like the fact that I am hand writting and making it more personal. (It amazed me that they noticed)

  5. Hi, Jill!

Don't you love it when they notice little things like that!? It always feels so good. I do think it is more personal to write in yor own handwriting, and it's also quicker for me than the computer. I used to spend so much time choosing a font, formatting the text, etc., etc. Now I only use the computer if I have a lot to write since my handwriting is a little large.
