Horrors! {12"x12" Layout}

Hi, everyone! Welcome back to Life on the {Scrap}beach & happy Memorial Day!

I just uploaded a new video over on my YouTube Channel. This is a random thoughts kind of page. I incorporated some memorabilia, but I mostly wanted to do a fun layout to highlight something that interests me. I like to do non-event pages as well as event pages for my scrapbooks.

Thanks for watching ~ I hope you enjoyed it!

  4. I really loved the layout. Where do you get your kraft cardstock. I love tips on saving money! Also, which grid paper do you like the best? white w/ blue or grey lines? Do you ever use the faded blue on cream?

  5. Hi, Amy! Thanks so much ~ I'm so glad you enjoyed the layout! I get my kraft cardstock from Oriental Trading Company, and I think the price works out to $0.20 a sheet. Their kraft cardstock is not acid free, but I don't worry about that too much. If you wanted to make it acid free, you could use a buffering spray on it like Krylon's "Make It Acid Free!" spray or Archival Mist.

    My two favorite of the Scenic Route Paper Co.'s "Background Papers" collection are "Worn Blue Grid" which is the blue grid on the distressed/off-white paper and "White Blue Grid" which is the blue grid on the bright white background.

    Hi, Maritza! It's great to hear for you again! Thanks so much for your wondeful comment on this layout ~ I'm so glad you enjoyed it!

  6. Oh, I love this! I don't like horror films though, I can only watch them in silence because the music just freaks me out, as soon as they start playing the scary music, you know something bad is going to happen, I have to turn the sound off!!! Danz

  7. Hi, Danz! Thanks so much ~ I really appreciate your comments! Not everyone likes horror movies, I understand that. Sometimes I turn the sound off, too, since that does make them a little less scary. I like the older ones better because they were more creepy than the modern ones which are too much for me.

    This particular layout or idea would work for any kind of movie, which is nice. I need to start doing something with all my movie tickets!

  8. What a fun page Kathryn! Love how you incorporated some memorabilia on the page. You have a real knack for adding fun embellishments onto all your pages. I am so happy to have found your blog. Thank you so much for sharing. Nancy

  9. Nancy, thanks so much! I have been trying to make an effort to use my memorabilia more ~ otherwise I need t stop collecting it before it takes over our house and buries us. I recently went through my memorabilia box and organized it so it would be easier to incorporate into my pages. Thanks for watching!
