New Video: One Less Item in the "Unfinished" Pile

Hi & Happy New Year! I wanted to let you know that I have finished off another project in the "Unfinished Projects Mountain" that is trying to take over my house. I swear that it has legs which it used to steal some of my Pop Tarts this morning. {Can't you just picture a bunch of mini albums scampering around the kitchen floor on little stick legs? Climbing on top of each other pyramid style to reach the Pop Tarts? No? Hmmm. The image is so clear to me ...}

Anyways, I finished the "Love the Fall" 8"x8" Chipboard Mini & uploaded the final video over on my YouTube channel. You can view the video below, or you can follow this link to watch it on YouTube: Love the Fall.

So that's one more project finished from the giant pile of 41 unfinished projects. That means I only have 38 to go!

::cries a little::

Okay, I'm better. ::sniffle:: Now that this mini is finished and on it's way to my customer, I am going to continue working on the big stack ~ probably on my tree album. I think that one is going to turn out really cute.

Life's better on the beach.

P.S. Mr. Lifeguard has still not hooked up the photo printer to my new computer. I know he's been sick, but is that really an excuse? Perhaps I should hide his socks as punishment.

  3. Hi, Zeffy! The "Beachiversary" album is on the list for sure! I have to figure out a binding for it yet, because there are so many pages. I think it may be too thick for one book, but I will play around with it and see what happens.

    Thanks, Jill! I am feeling pretty good. I just need to complete two more projects to be over 10% done with the projects.

  5. What a beautiful album. Like the paper collection you used and thank you for sharing your techniques with us. Like that you have a lot of areas for nice size photos.

  6. Thanks, Dawn-Marie! I am really happy with how this one turned out! :D I knew someone would be able to see the mini album pop tart thieves! Jerks! LOL!

    Bobbie Lynn, this is the first 8"x8" album I have worked with and I loved how much more space it gave for larger photos. The larger pages even allowed for photo mats for up to 5"x7" photos. It was very cool. I think I might do more this size down the road.

  7. This album is so beautiful!!! I was so excited to see a video posted (I know, selfish me...) oh man, I just cannot say enough except now it's a bit difficult to get that picture of the mini's with legs climbing upon each other to make it up as high as the countertop to steal yummy Pop Tarts!!! Cannot WAIT for tonight's Ustream....such excitement in the air - I say, set up a nanny cam....oh yeah, and just think - if you steal Mr. LG's socks you might wake up one night with icy feet nudging you...is that worth it? Thank you again for sharing and see you tonight:D

  11. Erin, I am sorry all your Pop Tarts had to die because of this post ~ LOL! :D Maybe your minis albums will not be as active after dark since they are actually finished ... ? Unlike mine which have been languishing incomplete for a long time.

    Thank you so much, Calendula! :D I always appreciate your very classy comments! :D

    Thanks so much, Suzie! Another incomplete project crossed off the list! Feels good!

  12. LOL, Erin! :D Finished is when you can finally get a mini album out of your head and onto a page where you can stop thinking about it & how it's not done! That's what it is for me, anyway. It's when it stops being stressful & starts being pleasurable!
