Hi, everyone!
This Thursday we are starting a new USTREAM series! I will be doing a special classes to teach the "Boxed Set" album technique (the three books in a box).
Holding 31 4"x6" photos easily, this trio of albums looks like a set of hardbound books in a commemorative storage box. The three albums and the storage box are made entirely from paper and chipboard. The instruction manual details building and covering the box, as well as creating the albums. Photos of sample decorated pages and a supply list are also included in the manual.
In this class series, we'll create the storage box and books from scratch. The class will be offered online starting Thursday, October 4th starting during Euro Chat at 2:00 PM Eastern USA time on my USTREAM channel.
Here are some pictures of the project from the manual:
This 66 page manual costs $18.49 and includes over 200 color photos illustrating the steps needed to complete the album. The manual is available in my shop: Kathryn's Shop. It is almost three times the length of the "Album-in-a-Box" manual and includes almost ten times the number of step-by-step photos.
Within 24 hours of purchasing the manual, you will be sent an email with a PDF of the manual. If you have not received an email with a PDF and it has been more than 24 hours since you received confirmation from PayPal that your payment was made, please contact me.
To purchase your Boxed Set instruction manual, please click the link to my shop above!
Thanks for stopping by & I hope to see you on USTERAM tonight for Christmas Card Camp starting at 9:00 PM Eastern USA time!
~Kathryn :D

I am so excited I have my paper and some embellishments all picked out! Hope I don't sleep through this like I do everything else.
ReplyDeleteI like sleep! Sleep is good. :) Just need to get your sleep schedule sorted out so that you don't do it when exciting things are happening ~ lol!
DeleteThis is a very beautiful project again! I love it . I can hardly wait until thursday.....I will buy the manual!
ReplyDeleteWhat I was wondering though: do the books still fit in the box when all the pfoto's are in?
Hugs,
ingrid jager (freskin)
Yes, they do. The way the binding is done, there is a gap or gutter between each page, so the photos will be able to slide into the photo corners no problem! I'll bring some 4"x6" photos to class on Thursday so people can see how the books work.
DeleteThanks, Kathryn! I bought the manual and I will follow the classes! Yeah!!! I am looking foreward to it! :)
ReplyDeleteI also bought the manual but will have to watch the videos as I am working in the afternoon on Thursday. (I sure hope you're taping the classes.) I'm so looking forward to making this project.
ReplyDeleteYes, the class will definitely be recorded & it will take more than one class to get through the project, I'm sure! :D
DeleteHi, I downloaded the manual today and looked at the supply list. It is pretty straight forward but I am wondering about medium weight chipboard. Would that be similar to cereal boxes or heavier? I am new to paper crafting and I haven't yet explored the wonderful world of chipboard ;o}
ReplyDeletePlease enlighten me!
It's heavier than a cereal box - you'll definitely want something thicker & sturdier than that. I like the Grafix brand medium weight chipboard. You can usually find that brand in craft stores, or you can get a big pack of it from Walmart.com for a good price and very reasonable shipping if you're in the US. Another good brand is Paper Accents.
DeleteKathryn, Can we still get the Box Set Album Pattern only????
ReplyDeleteThanks you, Gwen
