August Trade Mini, Part Three

Hi, everyone! Welcome back to Life on the {Scrap}beach!

I just uploaded the third video of my August trade album video series over on my YouTube Channel. I hope my trade partner likes it!

Almost all the paper in this album came from the K & Company "Black & Ivory Fusion" paper pad. I got it at Michael's. Embellishments are from all over the place ~ my scraproom, Michael's, etc.

Thanks for watching & I hope you enjoyed it!

  2. Kathryn, thanks for another great video. This album is so feminine. You are so great at choosing the right papers. After scrapping for years I still find choosing the right papers hard (overwhelmed by all the choices lol). I really like all the little hinged photo mats - this would be a great idea to use on my dd's pages (she's 16) where my journalling might be a bit embarrassing to her right now. Thanks again, Nancy

  5. Hi, Steff! I hope I'm not responsible for the little trip to Michael's! :D If the final video at the end doesn't show you exactly what you're looking for, just let me know and I will take some quick pictures.

Nancy, it's good to hear from you! :D I haven't always been so decisive about papers. I actually went through a phase where, to be better about using my papers, I forced myself top use whatever paper I grabbed and cut into it randomly and use the scrap on the page. It was hard but it really stretched my creativity to be able to use all sorts of papers in all sorts of ways. Glad you got an idea for a technique for your daughter's album!

Hi, Hope & Twilightscrap! Less than a week until the last part will go live on YouTube & there will be a new "creating" video on Monday. Thanks for watching!
