Finished "Time" Album

Hi, everyone! Welcome back to Life on the {Scrap}beach!

I just got back from vacation, so I'm going to make this quick. I did finish the "Time" mini album before my trip, so I don't have any video of it coming together, but I do have a video of the completed album to share:

Thanks so much for watching! The page kits video will be up as soon as I get myself back on track from my vacation {soon} and I'll also be posting all about my scrapping process, as well.

  2. Thanks so much, Stephanie! I really appreiate it! I was very happy wth how it turned out in the end, even if I wasn't in my "comfort zone" while I was creating it.

  5. Kathryn,
My oh my - yet another winner. I can't see where you had any problems with the distressed look, I think you hit it spot on. Actually, I love the "gypsie" feel of this tag mini. I would say you are a certified card carrying member of the T!m fan club. Hip, hip, hooray ♥♥

  6. Thanks, Jill! This was fun to play with, but boy did it really make me s-t-r-e-t-c-h my creative muscles. Whew! I think I'll have to do some of my normal layouts for a while to recover! :D Maybe I'll be ready for some more Tim Holtz inspired stuff in about six months!

  7. Hi! I love the completed album. You are so talented! Tim would be proud! I just started a blog too! I am begging people to check it out b/c the only person to comment so far has been my dad! My blog address is www.amyvlovestv.blogspot.com

If you check it out...Thank you! If not...no biggie!

Can't wait to see the page kit video. I tried to put one together the other day and I have trouble picking between papers and limiting myself when it comes to embellishments.

  8. Hi, Amy! Welcome back & thanks so much for your lovely comments! I am not sure about Tim Holtz being proud, but he would probably be glad I was using his products & making him some $$$! :D

The page kit video is uploading to YouTube now and the blog post is ready to go. Once my compute and YouTube get everything sorted and processed on that end, I'll link it up here to this post. I think it should be done by 10:30 or so.

  12. Katheryn!
I loveeee this mini albummm!! Would it be ok if I ask for the kind of paper you used? When you mentioned on your video about Cosmo Cricket and Jack, I was not sure if you were referring to the paper you use on the mini album. Would you mind letting me know.. I am about to make a family album for my mom and I love this theme...
    Thank youuu!!

  13. Hi, Susana! Unfortunately, I am not 100% sure what paper line went into the album since it was all part of a vintage kit. However, I can tell you a few things. The chipboard album itself is Cosmo Cricket, but not any of the paper. The text paper is actually from an old book, and the vintage looking ledger paper is from the Making Memories Slice 8"x8" ledger pad.

There are companies that make vintage & distressed looking papers similar to this. Here are some paper companies I think have collections with a similar "feel" to the papers in this album: 7 Gypsies, Graphic 45, and some K & Company.

    I hope that helps!
